In recent years, the fabric duct systems with fiber fabric as the main material have been used in various places. The fiber bag duct with a simple appearance contains many important technologies. Only by mastering these technical parameters can we design a perfect fiber bag duct supply system.
1. Penetration rate. Penetration rate refers to the air volume per hour that gas permeates from the surface of the tube to the outside of the tube under a certain pressure. The choice of permeability is the key to the design of the fabric duct. If the permeability is too small, condensation will occur on the surface of the fabric duct, resulting in dripping, mildew, and bacteria growth, making the fabric duct unusable; if the permeability is too large, the static pressure in the tube is insufficient, the air supply range cannot be satisfied, and the use requirements cannot be met.
2. The fireproof performance of the fabric duct. That is to say, the fireproof grade A material should be used in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning engineering; the B1 grade material can be used when the fire compartment is designed and fire damper is set.
3. Shrinkage rate. The shrinkage rate refers to the change rate of the fabric duct after washing and air drying; the value is equal to the difference between the washed size L2 and the original size L1 divided by the original size L1, that is, the shrinkage rate = (L2-L1)/L1*100%. The current international mainstream shrinkage rate standard is: shrinkage rate ≤±0.5%.
For the fabric duct, tensile strength, compressive strength, corrosion resistance, antibacterial rate, etc. are all indicators to measure its quality.
